Tree Pit Improvements

The City of Lynn is soliciting quotes from qualified contractors to expand existing tree pits in concrete sidewalks, perform branch and root pruning on affected trees, and install permeable rubber paving at various locations in accordance to the specifications. Budget for project is $36,000.

Project specifications are available starting Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Specifications will be emailed or mailed upon request at [email protected] or call 781-586-6893. Please reference RFQ #03-622 when making request.

Quotes are subject to higher rate between state prevailing wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 §§26 to 27H inclusive and Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates. 50% Payment Bond of total quote price is required for any contract over $25K.

Quotes are due back by Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 11:00AM. Quotes may be emailed to [email protected] or delivered to Lynn City Hall, Purchasing Department, Room 205, 3 City Hall Square, Lynn, MA 01901. Please address email or envelope – Quote #03-622 Tree Pit Improvements.

The City of Lynn reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all quotes or any part thereof and make award as may appear in the best interest of the City. The City of Lynn Purchasing Agent will prepare the notice of the award and the actual awarding of this contract.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC AUCTION

The City of Lynn has declared for sale tools, equipment and vehicles. Surplus supplies include cars, trucks, heavy equipment, snow plows, tractor/skid loader attachments and miscellaneous tools and equipment.

Interested parties must participate in an on-line auction. No offers can be made directly to the City of Lynn. All bids must be completed through Auctions International, 11167 Bid Tree Road, EWast Aurora, NY 14052. For surplus description, photos and bidding instructions go to City of Lynn MA DPW #42479

All surplus supplies will be available for physical inspection on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 9:00AM – to 12:00PM at Lynn Department of Public Works, 250 Commercial Street, Lynn, MA 01905.

Auction will start on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 and end on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 6:30PM.

The surplus supplies will be awarded to the responsive bidder offering the highest price. The City of Lynn reserves the right to reject any and all bids. In addition, the City reserves the right to reject bids and to dispose of a vehicle through a negotiated sale, provided that the negotiated sale price is higher than the highest bid received from a responsive bidder

All bidders must submit a signed Non-Collusion Form with bid
