Revised City Charter and Administrative Code

The City of Lynn initiated a City Charter revision in 2024, resulting in a modernized governing document designed to streamline operations, improve results, and restore local control over city affairs. The revised charter was approved in April 2025.

The Administrative Code is required by the City Charter. It establishes the organizational structure for city departments and agencies, as well as defines the structure and terms of boards and commissions.
