The Purchasing Department is answering all phone calls and returning any voicemails and emails received every day. All emails to any staff member are being forwarded to Tim Leonard, Purchasing Agent.  He will address each email accordingly. The City of Lynn (“City”) provide for a procurement system of quality and integrity; provide for fair and open competition and equitable treatment of all persons or firms involved in purchasing by the City; ensure that supplies and services (including construction) are procured efficiently, effectively, and at the most favorable prices available to the City; promote competition in contracting; and assure that City purchasing actions are in full compliance with applicable Commonwealth of Massachusetts General Laws, local laws and Federal procurement laws if required.

All procurement and contracting activities of the City are conducted in accordance with all applicable provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30B; M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39M; and M.G.L. Chapter 149 Sections 44 A-J, M.G.L. c. 7, §§38 A½-O and  Federal Regulations at 24 CFR85.36 if applicable.

Request for Quote #03-357
Repair and Resurfacing of Tennis Courts

The City of Lynn is soliciting quotes from qualified contractors to provide all labor, material and equipment for the repair and resurfacing of five (5) bituminous concrete all-weather tennis courts.  Courts are located behind Lynn English High School, 50 Goodridge Street, Lynn, MA 01902. 

Project includes the repair of structural and random cracks with Armor Crack Repair System and applying a three (3) coat acrylic surface system to bituminous concrete surface as outlined in specifications. Approximately – 225 linear feet 3,460 square yards

Work is estimated at $40,000.  Contractor is responsible for all labor, material and equipment needed to complete project.  Any required permits must be secured by contractor but fees are waived.  Project must be completed within 30 days of contract signing.

Project specifications are available starting Wednesday, September 16, 2019.  Specifications will be emailed or mailed upon request at purchasing@lynnma.gov or call 781-586-6893.  Please reference RFQ #03-357 when making request.

Quotes are subject to M.G.L. c.149 and to state prevailing wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 §§26 to 27H inclusive

Payment Bond of 50% required for any contract over $25K.

The City of Lynn is soliciting quotes from qualified contractors for the removal and replacement of a Rotary Model AT70E in-ground truck list located at the Department of Public Works 250 Commercial Street, Lynn, MA 01905.

Work is estimated at $45,000.  Contractor is responsible for all labor, material and equipment needed to complete project.  Any required permits must be secured by contractor but fees are waived.  Project must be completed within 30 days of contract signing.
