We are not a club; the center is open to anyone 60 years of age or older as well as those over 50 years with a disability at the Director’s discretion.

List Volunteer Opportunities

- If you are interested in volunteering at the senior center there are positions available; Serving lunch to the seniors, once a month Newsletter assembly, Good will ambassadors, or driving the bus for day trips. Inquire with in, ask for Erica Brown.

- We are always looking for suggestions and ideas for activities, programs or events. Please let us know how we can improve your senior center. Your input is important to us!

- The Lynn Council on Aging Senior Center appreciates your support in the community so that we may continue to assist our elders while aging in place independently.

Lynn Council on Aging Board of Directors

The Lynn Council on Aging Board of Directors meet every month except July and August in Room 302 at Lynn City Hall. Visit the City Clerk's meeting page for meeting dates and locations when available. If interested in applying to serve as a Board of Director apply online through the Mayor’s application process. The Board generally meets the 4th Wednesday each month at 11:30 AM.

Friends of Lynn Council On Aging

The Friends of the Lynn Council on Aging are a non- profit fund raising group that meets quarterly to plan events and support the senior center. Consider the joining the Friends of the Lynn Council on Aging!

Our meetings are held at the senior center at 9:45 AM on the last Thursday of the month. 2019 Meeting dates are January 25th, February 22nd, March 29th and April 26th.

Our Mission Statement:
To enhance the effectiveness of the Lynn Council on Aging Senior Center by providing support of both a  fundraising and volunteer nature. To promote, sponsor, and to carry out educational and public service purposes and objectives so as to encourage elder interest and participation in the senior center.
