Computer Class Information

Sorry for the inconvenience, we are actively recruiting for an instructor. Course and time details to follow.

Classes are limited to 6 students with more one on one time for questions, practice and hands on applications. Classes are scheduled for Wednesdays. The class is five weeks long and cost $60. Pre-paid registrations hold your seat. Either sign up in person at the center or mail your check to:

Computer Class | Wednesday - 11 AM - 12 Noon
Introduction to Computers & Windows 7

This basic introductory course is for students with little or no experience. This course will introduce the beginner to the basics in keyboard, mouse and computer operations. The student will learn the basics of Windows 7 and its functionalities, basic Word Processing, Terminology and some basic Typing. During this class, we will assist you in setting up an e-mail account and will cover some basics of internet.

The Lynn Council on Aging Board of Directors meet every month except July and August. Visit the City Clerk's meeting page for meeting dates and locations when available. If interested in applying to serve as a Board of Director apply online through the Mayor’s application process. The Board generally meets the 4th Wednesday each month at 11:30 AM.

Friends of Lynn Council On Aging

The Friends of the Lynn Council on Aging are a non- profit fund raising group that meets quarterly to plan events and support the senior center. Consider the joining the Friends of the Lynn Council on Aging!

Our meetings are held at the senior center at 9:45 AM on the last Thursday of the month. 2019 Meeting dates are January 25th, February 22nd, March 29th and April 26th.

Our Mission Statement:
To enhance the effectiveness of the Lynn Council on Aging Senior Center by providing support of both a  fundraising and volunteer nature. To promote, sponsor, and to carry out educational and public service purposes and objectives so as to encourage elder interest and participation in the senior center.
