A Disposal Fee will be charged for Drop-off of TV’S, CRT Monitors and Propane Tanks. Stickers will be issued authorizing drop-offs. Stickers can be purchased on the designated Drop-off day or in advance at the Lynn DPW - 250 Commercial Street, Lynn.
Resident's are limited to (3) TV's, (3) Monitors and (3) Propane Tanks

Drop offs are permitted Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM and Friday's from 8:30 AM until 11:30 AM.

Leaf and Yard Waste Drop Off | Saturday’s Only - Weather Permitting
Yard Waste is defined as leaves, grass clippings, garden materials, shrubs, hedge trimmings, weeds and brush and branches.
Rules for our drop off site for residents.
Required All Residents must present a Driver’s License ID to confirm City Residency before they are allowed to enter facility.
No yard waste from commercial sources will be accepted.
No plastic bags
Dumping materials other than yard waste and or on days the site is closed is strictly forbidden and is considered illegal dumping.
Lynn Residents may bring yard waste to the drop off site in bio-degradable paper bags or in barrels only.

Pine Grove Cemetery Cleanup | Fall 2016
DPW Commissioner Andrew Hall and Arthur Dulong III, Chairman of the Pine Grove Cemetery Commission announces that the fall cleanup of the cemetery will commence on October 15, 2016 and will continue through November 1, 2016, pending any weather delays.
Any summer planters and miscellaneous items left on the graves that will interfere with the fall clean-up and maintenance of the cemetery will be removed from the lots and graves commencing October 15th. All fencing and borders must be removed. Please cut back all perennial plants. Vigil Lights, Mums and fall decorations may remain. The replacing of any items on the graves will be prohibited from October 15th through November 1st.

Tips to Help Us to Keep Things Running on Schedule...
Sweeping operations are conducted from 7 AM to 3 PM. The street sweeping schedule and pertinent information is publicized a week ahead in the daily newspaper posted as indicated above, and on this website.
This schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather. Should inclement weather prevent sweepers from working in your area as scheduled, they will return seven (7) days from the date originally scheduled.
Please remove all cars from the street and encourage your neighbors to do the same for a cleaner LYNN. When necessary, any vehicles, which impede sweeping operations, may be ticketed or towed in accordance with city ordinances. Sidewalks may be swept into the gutter but large piles of leaves and debris will not be acceptable and will not be swept up.
City of Lynn Rain Barrel Program
Lynn Rain Barrel Program Lynn residents are eligible to participate in Lynn Rain Barrel Program, offered by the Water and Sewer Commission to help residents conserve water and save money.
Rain barrels collect and store rain water for outdoor water use, allowing homeowners to save on water bill. In New England, rain barrels can as much as 1700 gallons of water during the extended summer months. They also reduce pollutants from entering into the water supplies by reducing runoff – this helps towns manage the water supplies and keep costs down. Rain barrel are low cost and easy to install.
The rain barrel is repurposed from a 60 gallon shipping drum that are 39" tall by 24" wide, 20 lbs. empty. The shipping drum is made from 3/16" polyethylene which is UV protected and BPA free. The barrel comes complete with overflow fittings, drain plug, screw on cover, and a threaded spigot with a choice of two ports to use with either a watering can or a garden hose. The rain barrel arrives with simple instructions for fast and easy installation.
Lynn is offering the Great American Rain Barrel in three colors; Forest Green, Earth Brown or Nantucket Gray at the low cost of $69 versus the retail price of $119.
